We are a member of the FFCU, Fédération Française des Clubs pour l'UNESCO. Our principal mission is welcoming new pupils to the lycée of MASSILLON Ensemble Scolaire International. Everybody at Massillon can join the MUC! For further information, contact: ortisbateau@gmail.com

Etre membre du MUC, c'est pouvoir :

> accueillir et accompagner les nouveaux lycéens de Massillon, notamment ceux venant de l'étranger ;

> s'intégrer à la communauté éducative de Massillon ;

> aider son prochain et se faire des amis ;

> initier et mener des projets citoyens ;

> étudier les cultures d’autres pays ;

> découvrir et faire découvrir l’Auvergne et la France ;

> promouvoir les valeurs de l’UNESCO et contribuer à ses actions ;

> s'engager dans la construction d'un monde de justice, de solidarité et de paix !

Friday 2 February: Candlemas (candles in chapel and pancake party) for Grandir au Népal

The aims of UNESCO Clubs are those of the Organization itself, as proclaimed in its Constitution: "to contribute to peace and security by promoting collaboration among the nations through education, science and culture in order to further universal respect for justice, for the rule of law and for the human rights and fundamental freedoms which are affirmed for the peoples of the world, without distinction of race, sex, language or religion, by the Charter of the United Nations."
